Owners or others in charge who permit a chronic nuisance property (repeated nuisance or criminal activity) are in violation and face city abatement remedies. The code states: "(3) Any person who is a Responsible Party for Property which becomes a Chronic Nuisance property shall be in violation of this Chapter and subject to its remedies" (§ 8.06.030).
