Oregon Late fees
Can a landlord charge a late fee in Oregon, and how much?
Only if rent is not received by the 4th day of the period and a written agreement sets out the fee. Limits: a reasonable flat fee once per period, or a daily fee up to 6% of that flat amount, or 5% of the rent per 5-day period. Unpaid late fees alone are not grounds for a nonpayment eviction.
