Yes. Rented properties must be registered with Inspectional Services. This covers non-owner-occupied single-family homes and all other rental dwellings. Owner-occupied two- and three-family homes are exempt, and new dwellings are exempt for five years. Fees are $15 per unit for first registration and $5 per unit to renew each year. Non-compliance brings a fine of double the fee for each month.
