Wyoming Repairs and habitability remedies

Last reviewed 2026-10-15

What can a tenant do if the landlord won't make repairs in Wyoming?

A tenant who is current on rent may give written notice of health or safety defects (by certified mail or as allowed by statute). If the landlord does not fix them within a reasonable time, the tenant serves a 'notice to repair or correct condition' giving 3 days, then may sue in circuit court for damages, repairs or termination. No repair-and-deduct remedy is provided.
