Oregon Repairs and habitability remedies
What can a tenant do if the landlord won't make repairs in Oregon?
After written notice, a tenant may have a minor habitability defect repaired (up to $300; mold, radon, asbestos and lead paint are excluded) and deduct the cost from rent. The statute also provides other remedies for essential services and material noncompliance.
