Nevada Repairs and habitability remedies
What can a tenant do if the landlord won't make repairs in Nevada?
After written notice, the landlord has 14 days to fix habitability failures. After that, the tenant may terminate, sue for damages, or withhold rent into a court escrow (118A.355). Repairs costing up to the greater of $100 or one month's rent may be done by the tenant and deducted (118A.360). For loss of essential services, the landlord has 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays) after notice (118A.380).
