New York Notice to enter
How much notice does a landlord have to give before entering a rental in New York?
Reasonable prior notice, at a reasonable time, with the tenant's consent, for routine or agreed repairs or services or as the lease allows. In emergencies (e.g., fire, water leak) the landlord may enter without notice. If the tenant unreasonably refuses, the landlord may seek a court order.
