Nebraska Retaliation protections
Is landlord retaliation illegal in Nebraska?
Yes. A landlord may not raise rent, cut services, or bring or threaten an eviction because the tenant complained to a code-enforcement agency about a health and safety violation or joined a tenants' union. Exceptions: tenant-caused violations, rent default, or code compliance requiring major work.
