Is a move-in or move-out inspection checklist required in Virginia?

Within 5 days after move-in, the landlord must give the tenant a written report of existing damage. It is deemed correct unless the tenant objects in writing within 5 days. A landlord may instead let the tenant prepare the report or prepare it jointly.
