Kentucky Move-in/move-out checklist
Is a move-in or move-out inspection checklist required in Kentucky?
Before paying a deposit, the tenant must get a comprehensive list of existing damage with estimated repair costs, may inspect the unit to check it, and both parties sign it. At move-out, the landlord inspects and lists damage being charged. (URLTA provisions, KRS 383.505–.705, apply only where a city or county has adopted the Act; KRS 383.500.)
