Guest & occupancy limits in Oregon

Oregon lets a landlord allow an extra person to live in a tenant's unit as a "temporary occupant" under a written agreement signed by the landlord, tenant and occupant. The temporary occupant is not a tenant and has no tenant rights; the tenant can end the arrangement any time, and the landlord only for a material violation. The landlord may screen the occupant for conduct or criminal record, but not credit or income. Statute text: "To create a temporary occupancy, the landlord, tenant and proposed temporary occupant must enter into a written temporary occupancy agreement" (ORS 90.275(1)-(5)).
