Can cities in Oklahoma pass rent control?
Yes. No city or town may enact, maintain or enforce an ordinance regulating the rent for privately owned residential or commercial rental property. Exceptions: municipal property, rent agreements for subsidized housing, and CDBG-assisted properties.
