Oklahoma Domestic violence early termination
Domestic violence early termination in Oklahoma
Landlords may not deny, refuse to renew or end a tenancy because someone in the household is a victim of domestic violence, sexual violence or stalking, and may not penalize an applicant or tenant for having ended a past lease for that reason. The statute does not itself create a right to end a lease early. Statute text: "A landlord shall not deny, refuse to renew or terminate a tenancy because the applicant, tenant or member of the household is a victim or alleged victim of domestic violence, sexual violence or stalking regardless of whether there exists a current protective order." (Okla. Stat. § 41-113.3).
