Is a move-in or move-out inspection checklist required in Montana?

Required when a deposit is taken. At the start of the tenancy, the landlord must give a separate written statement of the premises' present condition; on request, the prior tenant's damage and cleaning charges. Either party may request an inspection within 1 week before the tenancy ends.
