Maryland Right to cure / redeem
Right to cure / redeem in Maryland
After a landlord wins a judgment for unpaid rent, the tenant can keep the home by paying all past-due amounts set by the court plus court costs and fees in cash, certified check or money order at any time before the eviction is actually carried out. This right can be lost after repeated judgments. Code text: "the tenant shall have the right to redemption of the leased premises by tendering in cash, certified check, or money order."
