What happens to the lease when a tenant dies in Florida?
A landlord can recover possession when the last remaining tenant has died, belongings remain, rent is unpaid, at least 60 days have passed since the death, and the landlord has no written notice of a probate estate or personal representative. This doesn't apply to federally regulated housing.
