A tenant who enters active-duty U.S. military service after signing the lease may end the tenancy on 30 days' written notice starting the first of the next month. Code text: "Upon 30 days’ written notice, which 30-day period shall begin on the first day of the month following the day of actual notice, the tenancy may be terminated."
