Last reviewed 2026-10-15

Does a landlord have to give notice before not renewing a lease in Delaware?

To end a lease that isn't month-to-month, the landlord must give at least 60 days' written notice before the lease expires stating that it will end on its expiration date. Month-to-month tenancies need 60 days' notice from either side.
