Tenant buyout disclosures in Connecticut

Connecticut regulates "cash for keys" offers after a foreclosure: an incentive to vacate must be at least the greatest of the deposit plus interest due, two months' rent, or $2,000, and the tenant cannot be required to waive legal rights to get it. There is no general buyout disclosure rule for other tenancies. Statute text: "any money or other valuable consideration offered by a mortgagee, lienholder or other successor in interest to a tenant in possession as an incentive to vacate the premises shall be at least equal in amount or value to the greater of" (Conn. Gen. Stat. § 47a-20f).
