Colorado Eviction record sealing
Eviction record sealing in Colorado
In Colorado every eviction case record is suppressed from public view as soon as the case is filed. It becomes public only if the court enters an order giving the landlord possession, and even then the parties can agree to keep it suppressed. Courts may not publish the parties' names online. (2024 C.R.S.) Statute text: "Upon the commencement of an action pursuant to this article 40, any court record of the action is a suppressed court record." (C.R.S. § 13-40-110.5 (2024 C.R.S.)).
