Property manager licensing in Arizona

Managing rentals for others for pay generally requires an Arizona real estate broker license: a "real estate broker" includes anyone who, for another and for compensation, rents or leases real estate, and A.R.S. § 32-2122(B) makes it unlawful to act as one without a license. Statute text: ""Real estate broker" means a person, other than a salesperson, who, for another and for compensation: (a) Sells, exchanges, purchases, rents or leases real estate" (A.R.S. § 32-2101(51)).
