Rental licensing / registration
Pilot program only. Chapter 75, adopted Nov. 3, 2025, currently applies only to single-family and duplex rental properties in the West Central Neighborhood (§ 75-1). There, an owner needs a rental license to let or rent a property long-term unless exempt; only one co-owner needs to hold it (§ 75-3). The annual fee is due when you apply or renew, isn't prorated or refunded, and is set in the city's fee schedule (§ 75-4). Licenses expire on a schedule based on the licensee's name, and each is valid for at least six months (§ 75-9).
