Short-term rentals (Airbnb)
Short-term rentals must be licensed, permitted or registered with the city. The code states: "(a) No person or entity shall rent, lease, or otherwise exchange for compensation all or any portion of a dwelling unit, as defined in this article, without first obtaining a short term rental license pursuant to the regulations contained in this article" (§ 18-82).
