Wisconsin Early termination (DV/military)
Can a tenant break a lease early for domestic violence or military service in Wisconsin?
A tenant facing an imminent threat of serious physical harm to themselves or a child may end the tenancy with notice and a certified injunction, criminal complaint or other listed document. Sexual assault victims are also covered. The tenant owes no rent after the end of the month following notice or move-out, whichever is later.
