Property manager licensing in Vermont

Vermont's real estate license law excludes leasing from the definition of broker, so managing or leasing rentals does not by itself require a Vermont real estate license. Statute text: "Any person who leases real estate or any interest therein or any improvements affixed thereon, or offers to lease, negotiates the lease of, or advertises as being in the business of leasing real estate" (26 V.S.A. § 2211(b)(8)).
