North Dakota Lease renewal / non-renewal notice
Does a landlord have to give notice before not renewing a lease in North Dakota?
For residential leases of 2 months or more, a landlord can't enforce an automatic-renewal clause unless it gave the tenant written notice of the clause at least 30 days before the lease ends. Without that notice, the lease converts to month-to-month.
