Nevada Ending a month-to-month tenancy
How much notice is needed to end a month-to-month tenancy in Nevada?
In Nevada, a landlord ends a month-to-month (or other periodic) tenancy with at least 30 days' written notice, or 7 days for week-to-week tenancies. A tenant who is 60 or older or has a disability may ask in writing, with proof, to stay 30 more days. Statute text: "(1) For tenancies from week to week, at least 7 days; (2) Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, for all other periodic tenancies, at least 30 days" (NRS 40.251(1)-(2)).
