Domestic violence early termination in Nevada

In Nevada, a tenant or cotenant who (or whose household member) is a victim of domestic violence, harassment, sexual assault or stalking may end the lease with written notice, effective at the end of the rental period or 30 days after notice, whichever is sooner. For domestic violence, the notice needs a protective order, police report or the prescribed affidavit. Statute text: "the tenant or any cotenant may terminate the rental agreement by giving the landlord written notice of termination effective at the end of the current rental period or 30 days after the notice is provided to the landlord, whichever occurs sooner" (NRS 118A.345(1)-(2)).
