Maryland Foreclosure tenant protections
Foreclosure tenant protections in Maryland
After a foreclosure on residential property, the new owner takes title subject to bona fide tenants' rights. That includes at least 90 days' notice to vacate and, for a bona fide lease signed before the transfer, the right to stay until the lease ends, with limited exceptions. Code text: "a notice to vacate to any bona fide tenant at least 90 days before the effective date of the notice."
