Indiana Early termination (DV/military)
Can a tenant break a lease early for domestic violence or military service in Indiana?
A protected individual (e.g. a victim of domestic violence or sexual assault with a protection or no-contact order) may end a lease with 30 days' written notice. The notice must include the order and, for DV or sexual assault, a safety plan from an accredited program, dated within 30 days and recommending relocation.
