Hawaii Move-in/move-out checklist
Is a move-in or move-out inspection checklist required in Hawaii?
Before move-in, the landlord must inventory the premises and make a written record of the condition of the unit, furnishings and appliances. Both parties sign duplicate copies, and each tenant gets one. The signed inventory is presumed correct.
