Arizona Rent increase notice

Last reviewed 2026-10-15

How much notice does a landlord need to give to raise the rent in Arizona?

Arizona's Residential Landlord and Tenant Act sets no rent-increase notice period (full act read). A month-to-month tenancy can be ended on 30 days' written notice before the periodic rental date (§ 33-1375(B)), and cities and towns are barred from controlling rents (§ 33-1329).
