Alaska Rent increase notice
How much notice does a landlord need to give to raise the rent in Alaska?
Alaska's Uniform Residential Landlord and Tenant Act (AS 34.03, read in full on 2026-10-15) sets no specific notice period for rent increases. A month-to-month rent change takes effect through the 30-day termination notice rule, and increases cannot be retaliatory.
