Alaska Interest on deposits
Does a landlord have to pay interest on a security deposit in Alaska?
Alaska's Uniform Residential Landlord and Tenant Act (AS 34.03, read in full on 2026-10-15) requires deposits to be kept in a trust account but does not require interest to be paid to the tenant.
